Quail with green olives and lemon
Quaglie alle olive verdi e limone
Ingredients:
- 4 pcs Quails
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 4 leaves of sage
- 100 gr extra virgin olive oil from The Mighty Olive
- 150 gr dry white wine
- 100 gr green olives from The Mighty Olive
- Salt, pepper
Method:
Clean the quails and cut them along the back. Remove skin. Warm extra virgin olive oil in a nonstick frying pan, add garlic, quails, sage and fry altogether to brown slightly the quails from both sides. After 10 min add wine and cook for 5 min, add some water or vegetable broth, olives, salt, pepper and close with the cover. Cook around 30 min till it`s done.
